The Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Mezzogiorno relies on SOGES, in partnership with Management House Italy, the construction and management of a Contact Center at its headquarters in Portici (NA), within the project “Campania Trasparente – Attività di monitoraggio integrato per la Regione Campania”.

The Contact Centre is part of Campania SiCura, complex recovery program for Campania food chain born from the need to respond to an emergency which has become increasingly clear and identifiable with the spread of the phenomenon known as "Land of fires" . This event, which reached its peak in 2014, has become in a few months a payoff bearer of derogatory content that, starting from a fact (the illegal disposal of hazardous waste), has extended to many Campania's tipical productions.

Under this program, the support of SOGES to the Contact Center will cover the following activities:

  • the “Campania Trasparente” measure, to directly certify the cultivated agricultural soils, making all the results accessible via web
  • the QR-CODE Campania certification system, for the protection of agricultural products. Thanks to the bar code printed on the product, anyone with a mobile phone can access via the web to the analyzes made by the Institute Zooprofilattico, consulting them in full
  • the SPES - Studio di Esposizione nella Popolazione Suscettibile study, to assess the relationship between environmental pollutants (heavy metals, PAHs, PCBs, dioxins, etc.) and health in Campania, by systematically measuring biomarkers of exposure, effect or damage in biological fluids, and verifying any differences in risk and/or health of residents in the various Campania areas

The Contact Center of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Mezzogiorno is the operational management structure of all this activity, being at the same time an access vehicle for users (citizens, businesses, etc.) to the benefits provided by the Campania Region, as well as tool of monitoring and evaluation of results on the ground.

The expected duration of the assignment is 4 months with the involvement of a team of at least 11 employees, consisting of: environmental engineers, technicians, operators, front and back office.
