
Monday, February 1st 2016, the first call for ADRION Interreg Programme proposals was launched.
The main features:
- The resources allocated account for 40% of the total program budget (approximately 47 M €)
- The total budget of the projects will be between 1M and 1.7M €
- Pojects must involve at least three countries, of which at least one part of the EU (Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia)
- Total project duration: 24 months
- deadline: March 25th, 2016
We recall that SOGES has supported, in the past year, the Managing Authority (Emilia Romagna) and the Task Force of the representatives of the participating countries in the definition of the Priority Axes and specific objectives of the Programme, which are mentioned below:
Priority Axis 1: Innovative and Smart Region
Development support for a regional innovation system for the Adriatic-Ionian area.
Priority Axis 2: Sustainable Region
Promoting the use and conservation of natural and cultural assets as growth resources in the Adriatic-Ionian sustainable.
Enhancing the capacity to tackle, at transnational level, environmental vulnerability, fragmentation and the preservation of ecosystem services in the Adriatic-Ionian.
Priority Axis 3: Connected Regions
Reinforcing transport services and integrated mobility and multimodality in ADRION.
Priority 4: Support the governance of EUSAIR
Facilitating the coordination and implementation of the EUSAIR Strategy strengthening the institutional capacity of public administrations and key stakeholders, and supporting the progress made in implementing common priorities.

The first call, expiring on March 25th, is directed to the first three axes of the program. The territory concerns the regions of four EU Member States (Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia) and four non-EU countries (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia).
For Italy are concerned the following regions: Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily.
